Great American Leadership Program
The Great American Leadership Program is being sponsored by the Ronald Reagan Foundation and will take place this summer from July 12-15, on the campus of Pepperdine University, and at the home of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum. This program is designed for students who wish to maximize their leadership potential and build their circle of opportunity within the world around them. The program includes public speaking training, networking opportunities and inspiring speakers, in addition to other leadership and growth activities. While the cost to attend the event is $1999 plus travel and airfare, our district has been offered two (2) scholarship invitations to cover the ENTIRE cost of attendance (including travel) for two, hard-working, deserving, and exceptional Horry County Schools students. This is an incredible opportunity that could change a student’s life.

Summer Internship (Horry Electric)
Horry Electric has a summer internship available to graduating seniors. This internship is specifically designed for students who will be graduating high school, are 18 years old, and planning to continue their education in a two- or four-year degree program.
The internship offers hands-on experience in our Staking Department and aims to provide students with practical skills and insights that will benefit them in their future academic and professional pursuits. We would love for any eligible students to apply.
